Newcastle were stunned when defender Nathan Ake was set to be valued at £50million by Manchester City football team. Newcastle head coach Eddie Howe is keen to work with the Dutch defender again. The latter worked together at Bournemouth while their £80,000-a-week wages were not a problem to stifle the deal.
Howe has been asking about Ake since January. According to The Sun, with the Newcastle boss describing Ake as his top target for his summer UFABET reinforcements.
Nathan Ake spent four years with Howe at the Vitality Stadium from 2016 to 2020, before moving to Manchester City for £40m in 2020.
But the 27-year-old has little role in Pep Guardiola’s squad, behind Ruben Dias, Emeric Laporte and John Stones.
Ake has won two Premier League titles and one League Cup at the Etihad Stadium, but Guardiola will not deter his move if a team can afford it. Value as set
Ake quickly developed his own pace and became a key player in the team. By that time, he started playing football from the position of the left wing. Before he was later transferred to play as a full-back and centre-back (centre-back), he became a versatile player. With a talent that can play both in the midfield and defenders ever. Until the age of 12, his form of play will catch the eye of the scouts of the famous Dutch club Feyenoord.
